How to improve the precision of cylindrical grinding machine

External cylindrical grinding machines are widely used in the bearing industry, and their development is particularly prominent in the automotive and motorcycle industries. It is based on the contour shape of the processed workpiece, using many straight lines and arcs to form the outer contour of the grinding wheel. By analyzing machine tools, understanding the causes of machine tool failures and errors is beneficial for improving the precision of machine tools.
There are five measures to improve the precision of cylindrical grinding machines:
(1) Reduce the original error. Identify the causes of errors, eliminate and reduce them;
(2) Compensate for the original error. Artificially creating some errors to offset the original errors;
(3) Transfer the original error. Transfer geometric errors, thermal deformation, etc. in the process system;
(4) Divide the original error equally. Divide the error into several parts and adjust and process each part accordingly;
(5) On site processing method. This method can quickly solve the accuracy problem of cylindrical grinding machines and also protect the accuracy of workpieces.
