The causes of surface burns on workpieces after machining with CNC cylindrical grinders.
1、 Improper control of feed rate. The solution to this problem is to reduce the feed rate. A larger feed rate can be used at the beginning of CNC cylindrical grinder production, and relatively smaller feed rates can be used in the later stages to reduce the depth of grinding.
2、 Wrong selection of grinding wheel. Grinding wheels with small particle size, soft hardness, and loose structure should be selected. Use large hole grinding wheels to keep the grinding wheel in sharp conditions, and choose suitable cutting fluids with good lubrication to reduce friction between the abrasive particles and the workpiece.
3、 Friction between the grinding wheel and the workpiece's contact surface causes problems. At this point, the contact surface between the grinding wheel and the workpiece can be reduced to control the generation of heat.
