The precision cylindrical grinder has a bed body and a control console. An X-axis worktable and a grinding wheel head are installed on the bed body. The X-axis worktable is equipped with a clamping head and a tailstock. The X-axis worktable adopts an upper and lower double-layer plate structure. A rotating shaft is installed at the middle of the upper and lower plates to connect the two plates, and a rotatable nut is installed at one end of the upper plate. A ball screw is installed with the nut, and a servo motor drive connecting screw is installed on the lower plate of the X-axis worktable.
In order to enhance the accuracy and reliability of the rotation of the upper plate of the X-axis worktable, and reduce the influence of vibration, the upper plate of the X-axis worktable is made with circular arc heads at both ends with the rotating shaft as the middle, and curved guide plates are installed at both ends of the lower plate corresponding to the circular arc heads of the upper plate. The principle of operation is to start the servo motor and drive the ball screw to rotate the nut before producing the cone, pushing the upper plate of the X-axis worktable to rotate by an angle, so that the designed cone surface of the workpiece is parallel to the grinding wheel. Grinding begins, and high concentricity workpieces can be produced by feeding the grinding wheel.
Precision cylindrical grinders are typically used with the following types of rolling bearings:
(1) Paired spindle bearings (radial thrust ball bearings), grinding wheel main bearings for flat, inner circle, gear, thread, spline and other grinders, and headstock main bearings for gear, thread, spline and other grinders (rotary type).
(2) Double row tapered roller bearings, head frame main bearings, and head and tail frame main bearings (rotary type) for roll grinders.
(3) Double row roller bearings, double end grinder, roller ring grinder grinding wheel main bearings, and roll grinder head and tail frame main bearings (rotary type).
The main spindle system structures in widely used spindle bearings. Internal circular grinding shaft, worm wheel grinding machine's grinding wheel spindle, workpiece spindle. The grinding wheel spindle and workpiece spindle of the thread grinder are also basically the same. The rolling bearing head frame of the external cylindrical grinder (internal and external cylindrical grinder) adopts hollow tapered roller bearings.
