What are the main aspects of machining accuracy for cylindrical grinders?

Release time:2025-04-08     Visits:33

The machining accuracy of an external cylindrical grinder mainly includes the following aspects:
1. Geometric accuracy: Geometric accuracy refers to the geometric shape and dimensional accuracy of the parts machined by machine tools. The geometric accuracy of machine tools includes the rotational accuracy of the spindle, the straightness and parallelism of the guide rail, and the flatness of the worktable.
2. Transmission accuracy: Transmission accuracy refers to the working accuracy of the machine tool transmission system, including the stability and accuracy of the spindle speed, the accuracy and smoothness of the feed system, etc.
3. Motion accuracy: Motion accuracy refers to the accuracy of the relative position and relative motion between the components of a machine tool during motion. For cylindrical grinding machines, motion accuracy includes the accuracy of the relative position and relative motion between the grinding wheel and the workpiece.
4. Position accuracy: Position accuracy refers to the positional accuracy of the parts processed by the machine tool relative to the machine coordinate system. For machine tools, position accuracy includes the positioning accuracy and repeatability accuracy of the workpiece relative to the machine coordinate system.
To improve the machining accuracy of cylindrical grinders, corresponding measures and processes need to be taken from the above aspects, such as selecting high-quality machine parts, adjusting machine parameters, and controlling the machining environment.
