What are the aspects of positional accuracy for CNC cylindrical grinders?
The reasons for causing ripples on the surface of workpieces processed by cylindrical grinders are:
1. The static balance of the grinding wheel is poor.
2. If the hardness of the grinding wheel is too high or the viscosity of the grinding wheel is uneven, the grinding wheel becomes dull, the friction between the grinding wheel and the workpiece increases, and the periodic vibration of the workpiece increases.
3. The main bearing of the grinding wheel is worn, and the large clearance of the main shaft causes floating during rotation, resulting in imbalance and vibration of the grinding wheel.
4. Poor contact between the taper hole of the grinding wheel flange and the taper end of the grinding wheel spindle can cause the grinding wheel to bounce during grinding.
5. The vibration of the grinding wheel rack motor is caused by the transmission belt being too tight, loose, or uneven in length.
6. The balance of the grinding wheel rack motor is poor.
7. Poor contact between the center hole and the top of the workpiece.
8. The workpiece top is not suitable, too tight causes uneven rotation of the workpiece, and too loose reduces the rigidity of the system.
